You cannot continue to preach and teach the God of the Bible in a culture that loves darkness rather than light and avoid accelerated persecution. As much as we wish to prophecy revival and great times of happiness, I perceive turbulent times in the years to come. The increased censorship of righteous voices coupled with the demand for inclusion from a culture of moral depravity will ultimately physically clash with a remnant of believers who refuse to bow their knee to Baal. Thereby, breeding persecution upon the saints with the backing of the government and enforced with established legislation.

Instead of pampering the saints with self-centered messages on how to obtain “your prosperity” and your “best life now” it will do us justice to prepare the saints to practice “cross type sacrifices” such as self-denial, and develop maturity for the inevitable persecution and literal “prison sentences” coming as a result of standing for the truth. Smart fellowships will start now.
If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also. But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me. (John 15:18-21)
