FALSE COMPASSION
By: Derrick P. Rodgers

Beware of the “extreme sensitivity” toward same-sex marriage and the homosexual lifestyle that is being flaunted throughout the body of Christ, which is cloaked in false compassion and deceitful love.

True compassion doesn’t sooth the conscious and emotions with inspiration, which solidifies one to remain comfortable in the trappings of sin.

Then Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed.” (Mark 1:41).

[True compassion toward men should comprise of a strong desire to alleviate suffering, which leads to deliverance, not a validation of sin.]

When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, “Do not weep.” Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said, “Young man, I say to you, arise.” So he who was dead sat up and began to speak. And He presented him to his mother. (Luke 7:13-15).

[True compassion never leaves one in a state of death.]
