BEWARE OF THE MODERN DAY DOCTRINE OF THE NICOLAITANS

Some Bible commentaries believe the Nicolaitans were a heretical sect that followed the teachings of Nicolas —who was possibly one of the deacons of the early church mentioned in Acts 6:5.
Some believe “Nicolas taught a doctrine of compromise, implying that total separation between Christianity and the practice of occult paganism was not essential.” [LightSource]
The Bible says in Revelation 2:14-16…
“But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the DOCTRINE OF BALAAM, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality. Thus you also have those who hold the DOCTRINE OF THE NICOLIATANS, WHICH THING I HATE. Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth.” [Revelation 2:14-16]
The primary doctrine of the Nicolaitans consisted of compromise by merging the Church with the world; hence, producing a hybrid church.
In light of today’s spiritual climate, it has become quite alarming that many are being enamored by the pied piper of the modern-day false prophet. Multitudes of saints are being beguiled with their witches’ brew of doctrine, which is emanating from the infrastructure of the Nicolaitans and the operation of Balaam. The doctrine of Balaam teaches how to surgically stumble the children of God that lead to idol worship and apostasy.
The grotesque beliefs and practices we are witnessing in today’s hybrid union of Christianity and paganism, are in part, directly connected to the compromise of the church coming into alliance with the world, their idol gods and defiled patterns of sexual behavior.
The obsessing desire to be friends with the world by coexisting with their antichrist ideology and behaviors classifies us as spiritual adulterers in the eyes God.
You [are like] unfaithful wives [having illicit love affairs with the world and breaking your marriage vow to God]! [James 4:4]
The refusal to separate from the world has a twofold consequence. It has cost many believers in the church the ability to function in the divine glory and power of God, thereby, enabling the rise of religious lunacy to run rampant throughout the body of Christ, which causes many to be led astray.
This same defiant refusal to separate from the world, is also robbing the world of the ability to hear the pure and Holy Word of God, thereby, keeping them in a “mental state of incarceration” promoting darkness, which is burgeoning out of control.
Let us not fool ourselves! There will be consequences for those who join themselves to the world and participate in their idol worship. Despite the continued claims of today’s fraudulent “grace message” that propagates that God will not judge the sin of His people is a complete fallacy, the day of reckoning is coming to those who refuse to repent for contaminating His church and comporting oneself as a spiritual harlot.
The doctrine of the Nicolaitans and the practice of Balaam within the church must be completely eradicated from the household of faith. The very fact the scriptures reveal that Jesus our Lord articulates clearly that he HATES the doctrine of the Nicolaitans indicates the aberrant, vile and destructive doctrinal ideology of such compromise. Nonetheless, this “ally union” if not severed, will produce colossal turbulence upon future generations. Let us contend for the faith and repudiate the doctrine of the Nicolaitans.

These women invited them to attend sacrifices to their gods, so the Israelites feasted with them and worshiped the gods of Moab. These are the very ones who FOLLOWED BALAAM’S ADVICE AND CAUSED THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL TO REBEL AGAINST THE LORD at Mount Peor. They are the ones who caused the plague to strike the LORD’s people. [Numbers 31:16]
Egyptians, marching from their cities of Memphis and Tahpanhes, HAVE DESTROYED ISRAEL’S GLORY AND POWER. And you have brought this upon yourselves by rebelling against the LORD your God, even though he was leading you on the way! “What have you gained by your ALLIANCES WITH EGYPT AND YOUR COVENANTS WITH ASSYRIA? What good to you are the streams of the Nile or the waters of the Euphrates River? [Jeremiah 2:16-18]
